A
community-based organization dedicated to helping provide
healthcare, education, career training and job placement to young
adults who have survived homelessness.
| The
Grace Foundation is a nonprofit organization aimed at
helping individuals whose lives have been affected by
abuse and poverty, causing them to become homeless at
a young age. This choice affects their ability to stay
in school, maintain proper health, make a consistent
income and contribute to society in a positive manner.
The
Grace Foundation helps young adults who have
demonstrated a desire to leave the streets in order to
begin cultivating a more fulfilling life. By
partnering with other organizations the Grace
Foundation is able to provide multiple avenues for job
placement, career training, college funding and health
and dental treatment. |

This
year’s Grace Foundation Event was held on May 12,
2007 at La Zona Rosa in Austin, Texas. International
singer/songwriter Patrice Pike performed a live
concert while famed artist Rolando Diaz created an
inspiring painting on stage. |
| This
fun filled evening included great food, drinks and a
silent and live auction. We would like to give special
thanks to this year’s Title Sponsors’ USI Holdings
Corporation, Maudie’s Tex-Mex and La Zona Rosa. They
have shown great support by generously donating to
this special event.
Funds
raised through this event have allowed the Grace
Foundation to continue being a voice and mentor for
young adults, in hopes that one day they may give back
what they have received. |
